    The Events Team is pleased to announce two new Gurus in the World.

    Please welcome GM Kaonashi as the new Town Guru of Kraken’s Fall. I’m sure many of you have noticed his uptick of participation in the Kraken’s Fall Folder and the new faces that he’s brought to Kraken’s Fall over the past few weeks. We are excited to see what he will be doing. He will be supported by Kraken’s Fall’s past gurus and other KF enthusiasts.

    Please also welcome GM Warlockes as the new Race Guru of Dark Elves. Warlockes is already working on Autumn and Winter Holidays, as well as other documents. We are enthusiastic about his knowledge in the area and look forward to his work. He will be supported by the other Race Gurus as well as the Lore Guru at every turn.

    The Ale Festival of 5124 Information Kiosk

    ALE FESTIVAL: The Ale Festival on Teras begins at 9pm on Friday, June 21 and will close at 11:59pm on Sunday, June 23. Expect some raffles, some shops, and at least one event each day. It’s open to everyone! Travel to Teras via the old-school Glaesen Star Ferry (minimum level 20, 10k silvers), on an OSA Ship, or use OSA Travel with the Portmaster (cost varies – ASK PORTMASTER ABOUT TRAVEL). Don’t forget other options: the Chronomages or Premium Chrono Orb travel, too!

    Greetings, Grarrogs!

    Months ago, the krolvin stronghold of Glaoveln was consumed by fire and smoke as the volcano Moradg erupted in a once-in-a-lifetime pyroclasm. Survivors of the disaster sent a desperate message to their kin in Northwatch, and the folk of the newborn nation responded.

    After fending off the forces of the Iron Harpy, an isolationist krolvin leader allegedly backed by the sinister Dusk Coven, the folk of Northwatch backed their ally Jkarog’s bid for leadership of the city.

    Glaoveln and the city of Glaeve can now be accessed by the White Wyrm, which is ferrying travelers by air, and the open sea by ship.

    Lord Gilenir Veythorne has announced that the Veythorne Gardens will be temporarily closed from the Niiman, the 11th day of Koaratos to some time on the 12th (Thursday, July 11th to July 12th… sometime) while he and the staff prepare for the estival florals.

    Interested parties are advised to gather their spring clippings beforehand (they’ll return again in the spring).

    Cordwainer Linsandral Vashmyne Illistim and his assistant Joci have announced that the current inventory of Well-Heeled will be refreshed at the end of the month and urge any interested parties to make their purchases prior to the temporary closure.

    [Ale Festival] Tok’s Rocks’n’Stuff

    If empaths and the like are not enough, and you need a bit of extra protection, then Tok’s Rocks may have what you are looking for! There are garlic amulets hypothesized to ward off … well, probably all people. There are also “healing” amulets that were once alleged to be a cure for the Red Rot. If those two items don’t work, slip on a pair of dwarven stompin’ boots and just stomp on any challenge.

    Please enjoy these new updates by GM Xynwen to old items — all originally created for the 2003 Revel of the Anfelt!

    Garlic Amulets: This script was originally created in 2003 by GMs Mindra and Jharra. It has been updated in 2024 to add some additional fluff traps and more flexibility in alterations while maintaining the original design intent. Plus, you may get different messaging if you are a dwarf, since these are dwarven made!

    Dwarven Stompin’ Boots: Also created by GMs Mindra and Jharra in 2003, these are heavy, sturdy boots made for stompin’! They are dwarven-made and have been updated to include a third tier and alteration flexibility (including a boot lining).     Dwarven “Healing” Charms: Originally created by GM Jharra in 2003, they were meant to be a trinket that claimed to heal the Red Rot or protect against it. Unfortunately, it looks like this never got released! These have now been updated, keeping Jharra’s original RUB, LOOK, and READ while adding additional verb traps and alteration options. Messaging sometimes varies if you are a dwarf (and even moreso if you are Toktrog or Ralgrenek clans in some instances). While this is almost purely fluff, there are two random “interesting” things that may happen when you LICK it and meet certain criteria.

The first will be her arriving on Mist Harbor and the introduction to Platinum and Shattered. The second will be adding a cost in silver.     I want to send out a huge thank you to those involved with Premium Festival this year. So many GM’s joined in to make it a fun time.

    I want to shout out to those who made shops, came in to merchant, ran raffles, wrote scripts, and played NPC’s: GM’s Azidaer, Casil, Elysani, Kaonashi, Lydil, Marstreforn, Meraki, Naiken, Optheria, Thandiwe, Tivvy, Valyrka, Warlockes, Weaves, Xayle, Xeraphina, and Xynwen. The whole QC team is amazing and got things out in record time. A special thank you to Tamuz, Xayle, and Ethereal for their help with the lomselea tree we grew, APM Estild and Dev for all of their permissions for raffle items, and APM Isten for his fast qc of the souvenir item. I must also recognize GM Ysuri for his amazing new spinner.

    I hope everyone enjoyed the new tidbits of lore, with a special thank you to GM’s Xayle, Lydil, and APM Tivvy for their support and help, and GM Mariath for her QC.

    It certainly takes a village.

    And last but definitely not least, thank you to all of the players who came out and enjoyed the sprites, bringing their glade to life. Thank you for your creativity, energy, passion, and patience.
